JOB OVERVIEW

The sound audio engineer/ FOH mixer will work closely with the Hotel Manager, Directors, and music artists to deliver all the live sound mixing for the theatrical and music performances that are presented in the district. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years working experience as a sound mixer for live music performances, theatrical shows and live entertainment specials. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Act as the representative for the department, meet with clients for events and assist in planning, attend BEO meetings.
• Inventory and Maintain the Audio Equipment and Audio Systems in the Faena Theater, Faena Forum, and Faena District 
• Supervise the Audio Load In and Set up of all Faena District events
• Mix or supervise mix all live theater productions, music performances, and live events in Faena Theater and Faena District 
• Supervise the Audio Technicians (A2) and Audio Engineers in the Faena District
• Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
