- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Support Month End and Year End Close process.
- Reconcile Bank Statements.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and maintain accurate schedules.
- Perform Accounts Payable process including entry of credit card expenses and issuance of 1099’s.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements, including reporting and analysis for variances.
- Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
- Maintain accounting files.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience.
- Outstanding reporting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Expert in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office applications.
- Able to navigate accounting systems such as Solomon, QuickBooks Online.
