Our ophthalmology practice is seeking a friendly and responsible person for our front desk. Work hours are Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. Previous experience working front desk at a medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet patients promptly and courteously
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, collect copays and other payments
• Input demographic and insurance information into electronic records efficiently and accurately
• Obtain authorizations
• Call other medical offices to coordinate care

Qualifications and Skills

• Professional demeanor, pleasant phone manner
• Comfortable with computers and electronic medical records systems
• Some knowledge of health insurances
• Organized, dependable, doesn't require micromanagement
• Team player who will pitch in to help others if needed

We will schedule phone interviews with promising candidates, and if you are a good match we will have an in-person meeting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
