Front Desk Receptionist - OBGYN
Job Type Full-time Description We are looking for an experienced, reliable, energetic, team player with impeccable customer service skills to join our well established practice!
Position responsibilities:
-Answer high volume phone calls
-Patient check in/out
-Schedule appointments
-Post copay/payment
-Review billing reports
-Process medical records requests
-Verify patient eligibility insurance and authorizations for surgery, appointments and DME.
Requirements
To qualify for this position you **MUST** have:
-5 years Medical Receptionist experience required
-Previous experience with multi phone line
-Excellent computer skills/knowledge - including typing skills
-Familiar with medical insurance and medical terminology
-EMR- EPIC experience **(PREFERED - not required)**
-Reliable with reliable transportation
-Attention to detail and accuracy a must
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-Able to do light lifting for stocking of printed patient material
-Professional appearance and manner
-Medical Assistant Certification for back office relief/cover **(PREFERED - not required)**
***Compensation will be based on experience***
Position: Full-time; Monday-Friday 8:15am-5:15pm [approximately 36-38 hours]
