Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Salon Assistant to join our team at our salon in Baton Rouge LA. As a Salon Assistant, you will provide support to our estheticians and ensure a positive experience for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the beauty industry to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills.

Duties:
- Assist estheticians with various tasks such as supply preparations, restock and assist clients
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean and well-stocked with supplies
- Greet clients and provide exceptional customer service
- Schedule appointments and manage the spa's calendar
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized spa environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of retail products
- Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:
- Previous experience in store management or cosmetology is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with front desk operations and retail sales is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of retail math

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Rotating shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
