The Service Repair Technician maintains and services housekeeping equipment purchased or leased by our customers.
Your hours will be from Monday - Friday from 7:00am am to 3:30pm, with some overtime.

Responsibilities:
You will:
Perform preventative maintenance, on-site repairs, or service contract repairs to floor care and packaging equipment.
Quote estimates on parts & repairs and notify the customer when requested. Upon completion of repair, promptly fill out repair work order for return to customer.
Purchase parts, accessories, equipment and special orders.
Maintain paperwork for work orders and contracts. Keep inventory log on all serialized and serviced equipment (purchased and sold).
Enter all information on equipment repair log.
Properly demonstrate equipment.
Process warranty claims.
Perform daily, monthly or quarterly inventories.
Purchase shop supplies.
Responsible for maintaining a safe, neat, organized, and functional repair area.
Assist in the initial set up and tracking of service contracts.
Properly dispose of equipment parts.
Coordinate with sales, customer service, warehousing and purchasing departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Continually enhance industry knowledge by continuing education.
Follow safety and housekeeping procedures.
Qualifications:
You have:
Prior service repair and maintenance experience (distribution environment preferred).
Ability to always stand and be in motion. Flexible enough to walk, twist, bend, stoop, pull, grip, and lift merchandise.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent mechanical skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to learn and operate ERP system.
Ability to travel to make service repairs.
Attend training programs.
Possess a valid Driver's License.
18 years of age
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
