Trissential is currently seeking a QA Architect, Automation with domain expertise in card payments to join our client team onsite in Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities

The QA Automation Architect plays a pivotal role in leading and directing the development, implementation, and management of automation frameworks and strategies within projects, ensuring seamless integration with client requirements and technical teams. This position requires a deep understanding of software development methodologies, automation tools, and domain-specific knowledge in card payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks tailored to the needs of major clients, leveraging expertise in Java, Selenium, AWS, RestAssured, and other relevant technologies, ensuring scalability and reusability across projects.
• Define and enforce governance standards for automation practices, providing support and guidance to the automation team, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Innovate and drive advancements in automation technologies and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, staying abreast of emerging trends and tools in the automation space.
• Collaborate closely with development and technical teams to integrate automation processes seamlessly into the software development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project goals and technical requirements.
• Utilize technical expertise in Java, Selenium, AWS, RestAssured, and other relevant technologies to architect and implement automation solutions, providing hands-on support and guidance to the automation team as needed.
• Establish and maintain interfaces with development teams to ensure alignment of automation efforts with project goals and technical requirements, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Implement and manage build and deploy tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and other relevant automation tools to streamline development and deployment processes, automating build, test, and deployment pipelines wherever possible.
• Lead the identification and implementation of quality engineering process improvements and metrics, leveraging automation tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement in software quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.

• ISTQB Advanced.

• Card payments domain background essential.
• Senior level experience in setting up and running multi-user automati.on frameworks across major clients.
• Create, manage and maintain automation approach.
• Setup frameworks and monitor.
• Governance and Support of automation team.
• Innovations and developments.
• Interface with dev and technical teams.
• Tech stack – Java, Selenium, AWS, RestAssured.
• Familiar with build and deploy tools (Jenkins, Maven etc) and opensource automation tools and methodologies e.g. BDD, specflow, cucumber, selenium, POM frameworks.
• Desirable but not essential: certification in NFT Tools such HP QTP, Selenium, HP LR etc.

• Offers expert advice on specific specialisms and provides detailed component specifications and designs for implementation.
• Proficient in advanced data and test automation tools such as HP UFT/QTP, Selenium, Jenkins, etc.
• Skilled in Java and proficient in VB scripting for automation tasks, with hands-on experience in writing Excel macros.
• Proficient in automating web, Java, and .NET applications, with experience in agile methodologies and tools like Selenium.
• Executes Proof of Concepts (PoCs), evaluates tools, and presents recommendations to clients.
• Hands-on experience with SoapUI, JMeter considered advantageous.
