We are currently seeking a Part Time Business Analyst with financial background to join our client team in a Remote capacity. This role, while remote, is only open to candidates who are eligible to work in the US and live/work within the United States.

Job Summary:

We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to collaborate with our vendor in documenting our business needs. This part-time role requires proven experience in financial and accounting processes. The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation and smooth implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and enhance processes related to fleet management, encompassing vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
• Conduct budget analysis to assess performance, identify variances, and optimize budgets.
• Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with agreements.
• Focus on purchasing improvement and best practices, identifying opportunities for streamlining, cost-saving measures, and implementing procurement best practices.
• Perform detailed financial analyses, creating comprehensive models to support decision-making.
• Analyze past results, conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
• Assist in annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Provide insights into the financial health of the organization.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards tracking key financial metrics.
• Support project analysis, validate plans, and handle ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role.

• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial modeling.

• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with financial software applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to tight deadlines.

Benefits

Trissential offers a competitive hourly rate for the Part Time Business Analyst, ranging between $75 to $90 per hour contingent upon the candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is estimated to be 20 hours per week for approximately 6 and a ½ months.
