Trissential is currently seeking a Business Analyst with Insurance Platform to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with expertise in insurance platforms, billing, and finance processes.
• In this role, you will play a pivotal role in defining, planning, and implementing features and enhancements within our insurance platform, focusing on billing and financial functionalities.
• Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering and prioritizing requirements, and ensuring that our insurance platform aligns with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Insurance Platform Expertise:
  • Leverage your deep understanding of insurance platforms and the insurance industry to identify opportunities for improving billing and finance-related processes.
• Requirements Gathering:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, product managers, and development teams, to gather and document detailed requirements for billing and finance features.
• Prioritization:
  • Assess and prioritize feature requests and enhancements based on business value, ROI, and customer needs.
• Roadmap Development:
  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap, ensuring that billing and finance functionalities are aligned with the overall product strategy.
• User Story Creation:
  • Create clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes to communicate requirements effectively to the development team.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with development teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and delivery of features.
• Testing and Validation:
  • Assist in defining test cases and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure that the delivered features meet business requirements.
• Financial Analysis:
  • Analyze financial data, billing processes, and related metrics to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
• Compliance and Regulations:
  • Stay up-to-date with insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that the platform remains compliant.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor the performance of billing and finance features, gather user feedback, and initiate improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of insurance billing and finance processes.
• Familiarity with insurance software platforms and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Agile methodology and project management experience.
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance is a plus.
