- Managing Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payables.
- Streamlining billing and contracts, managing payroll and timely disbursements.
- Identifying accounting and financial issues and suggesting timely solutions.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting, bank reconciliation, and R&D Tax credits.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting.
- Produce financial statements as required.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Work closely with external payroll companies and accounting firms.
- Develop and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with subsidiaries to coordinate and approve financial transactions.
- Managing banking and partner relationships, investor and Executive presentations.
The candidate must possess
- At least 10-15 years of experience with increasing responsibility within the corporate accounting/finance department.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or higher from a recognised institution. CPA s preferred.
- Well-versed with GAAP and other accounting practices and Nexus regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Excel and other MS Office Suite, Sage, and other accounting applications.
- Excellent communication- written and verbal.
- Pleasing personality.
