LOCAL CDL TRUCK AND SHUTTLE DRIVER
FLSA Status:Full-Time Non-Exempt
Reports to VP of Track Operations and Off-Road Tour
Manager
Supervisory Responsibility: None

Job Summary
This position is responsible for driving tractor trailers and/or passenger shuttles to take customers to off-road tour location. Will be driving a truck with a trailer towing 6-9 side-by-side and/or ATV off-road vehicles to tour starting location in south Las Vegas and returning to home location at end of day. Will also be responsible for drivinga passenger shuttle of up to 30people.
Essential Duties:
- Driving truck towing trailer to predetermined destination for delivery of vehicles such as side-by-sideand ATVoff-road vehicles.Communicating with supervisors and other staffto ensure safe and on time arrivals at destination
- Loading and unloading trucks as required for loading and unloading off-road vehicles
- Performing daily routine vehicle condition report on truck and/or trailer and off-road vehicles prior to beginning of daily tours
- Complying with company policies and D.O.T. regulations
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for tractor trailer operation
- Must have a good driving record for past 3 years
- Three months or more tractor trailer experience
- Must be available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to early morning, late night, and weekend shifts and on-call.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public and respond to official inquiries
- Knowledge in safe handling and riding of side-by-side and ATV off-road vehicles
- Experience as a tour guide or coach for organized tours
- Experience as a mechanic in serving and maintaining side-by-side and ATV off-road vehicles
Physical Demands:
- Regularly standing and walking
- Reaching with hands and arms to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
- Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
Visual Requirements:
- Close, distance, color and peripheral vision
- Depth perception
- The ability to adjust focus
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time and regularly requires early morning, late night, and weekend shifts.
