Intelligent Automation Sr Solution Developer (MSFT Power Platform - MPP - Architect)

We have an immediate need for a 6-month contracting position (will renew every six months) for a MSFT Power Platform resource. The details about the expectations are below.

Our goal is to have this role open through May 13 for submissions.

We will review and select candidates by 5/17 to interview the following week of May 20.

Part of the interview process will be a requirement to demonstrate a project built on the Power Platform.

Our target start date would be 6/4.

We would like to have a candidate locally that could be in the office Tues/Wed.
Remote is an option as well, but you must come in for your final interview in person.

This is a high-profile opportunity that will represent the first solution we are building that contains multiple tools across the Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages.

This solution will help us evaluate the intersection and viability of the broader Power Platform.

Any candidate without demonstrated Power Platform experience will not even be considered. Please do not submit a candidate that does not meet the requirements.

This project is to build an integrated solution to handle the Annual Fuel Bidding process for our partners in Fuel SCM.

Microsoft created a POC for this opportunity and we will share that once we have selected interview candidates for more details about this opportunity.

The POC will provide guidance on what we want for the end solution but there will be considerable work to build this into the infrastructure.

Overview

This role for an Intelligent Automation Sr Solution Developer will be responsible for the design, development, testing and delivery of an efficient and resilient intelligent automation solution leveraging multiple tools across the MSFT Power Platform (MPP). The candidate will need to be an expert level resource that could also share MPP expertise with all levels of developers on the IA Team. This role requires not only technical skills but also a thought leader in the AI space who can effectively communicate ideas and design plans with Technology architects.

This person will work with other developers, Technology Architects, leadership and with product owners and business customers to have an in depth understanding of the business process being automated.

Responsible for creating advanced technical designs, defining expected test results, developing automation code, and ensuring successful delivery to production.

This project will be leveraging MSFT Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, Power Apps and Dataverse to create an end-to-end integrated solution for handling the annual Fuel Bid process. This application was built in a POC version by MSFT, and we are looking to operationalize it.

The ideal candidate would be local (Dallas) and available to be in the office Tues/Wed.

Remote is an option as well but again you must come in for for your final interview.

If selected for an interview, the candidate will need to be in person for an interview and walk us through a project(s) leveraging multiple Power Platform tools and explain the approach and solution to the development and architecture teams.

Responsibility and Experience

1. Provides thought leadership and mentoring in process automation both inside of the COE Team and to other teamson automation

2. Leverages expert problem solving and technical skills to design and develop optimal solutions for complex to highlycomplex solutions

3. Ensures proper secure coding standards, change management, testing, security, audit and compliance guidance isfollowed and documented

4. Leads thoughts for continuous improvement of coding standards and solutions

5. Assess automation opportunities from a technical perspective by working closely with the product owners andinternal business customers and implementing proof of concepts

6. Supports end-to-end delivery lifecycle including post-deployment

7. Serves as an expert across automation deliverables including application architects, enterprise architects andsecurity architects to lead reviews and optimization of automation.
