PM S/4 HANA role

Target $200K, plus 15-20% bonus

4 days onsite in Overland Park KS

• 5-6 countries, 3-5 US cities
• 25% travel is normal, 50% travel is the absolute max and does not occur that often

Job Summary:

As an SAP Program Manager, you will be a key player in the intelligent enterprise team that helps to discover and define the problem statement, evaluates solution options and makes recommends to our internal customers and external partners.

The SAP Program Manager is responsible for the successfully managing all aspects of SAP projects for existing SAP ECC platform and planned S/4HANA platform.

This includes project planning, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation within given business strategies.

You must be able to expertly communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the course of a project and have strong interpersonal skills, as well as an understanding of how different departments within an organization interact with one another.

You'll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective program oversight, including engagements, program and project reviews to ensure success.
• Establish a solid project management methodology then build and maintain project and program-based schedules to achieve key milestones and ensure on-time project delivery.
• Carry responsibility of delivering its major elements including program s business objectives, scope and solution within quality criteria on time and within budget.
• Oversee the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously related to successful engagement or program execution.
• Assessing the feasibility of proposed projects, making sure they are consistent with company goals and objectives.
• Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
• Solve complex business problems in the areas including finance, operations, human capital, customer, and governance, risk and compliance, using SAP and 3rd party technologies.
• The job requires the ability to work outside of your area of responsibility to give input into all aspects of the business.
• Build proactive formal and informal communication/relationship with key stakeholders outside of direct team.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Travel as needed on average 25-50%. Additional travel possible depending on location and projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor s degree in project management, business administration, management information systems or a related field.
• Master s degree preferred.
• 7 years of project management experience.
• Experience in leading new SAP implementations and extending current SAP solutions.
• Experience with SAP on-premise solutions (ECC, BW, CRM, APO, HR, PO) and SAP cloud solutions (Ariba, Concur, Commerce, Cloud for Commerce, Datasphere, etc.).
• Experience with a minimum of 2 SAP S/4HANA, Private Cloud and SAP RISE preferred.
• Experience defining system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to development teams.
• Experienced in SAP Enterprise architecture.
• Experienced on an SAP functional area.
• PMP and / or Scrum certification highly desired.
• Experience with different methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum.
• Self- starter with strong time management and organizational skills
• Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change.
• Experience delivering software in Enterprise Environments.

Other:

• This is a permanent position.
• On-Premise 3 to 4 days and Remote Work: 1 to 2 days each week
