Role: Principal Developer / QA Automation Engineer

Location: One Week Per Month- RI, TX, MA, NH, NJ, NC

Summary:

• As a Principal Developer / QA Automation Engineer, your role is to create automated scripts and perform functional testing for the Green Meadows program.
• Green Meadows is a large and important initiative for FCAT and the firm.
• This candidate will be working closely with both business and technology key stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are important for this role.
• A strong desire to drive to obtainable results with direct and frequent communication with management and QA associates is needed for success in this position.
• Candidate must be able to communicate effectively to multiple audiences from both technical and business perspectives.
• Possessing the ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries within Green Meadows by building and maintaining strong partnerships is extremely important.

The Expertise We re Looking For:

• College graduate that is driven to meet, or exceed, expectations.
• Strong technical interest in financial services and ability to research and learn new technologies.
• Ability to think strategically and accept technical direction.
• Strong leadership and organizational prioritization skills.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to create automated test scripts and perform functional testing to benefit the Green Meadows program.
• Strong experience with Java is a must
• Experience with Cucumber, Selenium, and Jira is also required.

The Purpose of Your Role:

• The Principal Developer / QA Automation Engineer is responsible for working closely with the Green Meadows program manager and QA team to assist in a variety of tasks including creation of automated test scripts in several key functional areas.
• Candidate must be comfortable working with a growing team of technologists in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment bursting with emerging technologies, high risks and uncertainty.

The Skills You Bring:

• Experience developing test automation framework
• Test Automation - Strong Java Coding core Java, compile code, deploy code in environment, debug development code, write test scripts.
• API Testing - Rest Assured
• Cucumber Framework - must
• MongoDB knowledge
• Brokerage /Trading platform is a plus
• Communication, teamwork and empathy skills to deliver results in multi-disciplined team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
• Motivated, self-directed, results oriented.
