Overland Park Center is actively seeking Housekeepers to work for our skilled nursing community in Overland Park, KS. Mission Health Communities LLC, a premier provider of Senior Living and Skilled Rehabilitation Communities in the Southeast and Midwest, has recently partnered with Centers Health Care to manage the Kansas City Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

Duties:

• As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in our community
• Clean the resident rooms, restrooms, hallways and common areas
• With a close eye for detail, you ensure quality and deep cleaning of residents' rooms after discharge and prepare rooms for new admissions
• Collect soiled laundry, linens, and garments
• Wash & dry laundry per instruction
• Separate, fold and/or hang garments and deliver to respective areas
• Take great care to enhance safety and sanitary conditions
• Live up to the trust of those in your care by complying with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations, maintaining knowledge of and following all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions
• A willingness to learn is needed
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members
• High School diploma or equivalent
• One-year experience working with housekeeping
