EWTN Global Catholic Network is Hiring a Marketing Specialist Near Irondale, AL

Onsite in Irondale (Birmingham), AL. Not remote-eligible.
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:
As the Marketing Specialist for the Religious Catalogue department, you will be responsible for completion of the purchase order process, RC Show product, various marketing promotions, item rationalization as well as assorted web & vendor responsibilities via interaction with Religious Catalogue (RC), vendors, Accounting, Creative Services, Online Services, Communications, and other departments to accomplish needed results.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage the Purchase Orders (PO) process after PO completion through Director approval, match with vendor invoice, product received, reconcile product issues, vendor manage through to Accounting and verify payment.
  • Track POs, manage to timely receipt of products, track daily to avoid potential out-of-stock product.
  • Prepare show tapings (1x/5wks); review product grid for prior promotion activity, pull & return products, & manage day of product on-set.
  • Develop promo pieces with the Director as needed, interface with other department entities to coordinate & accomplish marketing goals.
  • Assist with SKU rationalization by revitalizing product line via discontinuation of slow movers and managing items out to zero inventory.
  • Assist with web merchandising by supporting product web page management, review all item presentations to include proper marketing copy, videos/support materials and ensure all appropriate images are shown. Manage images from vendors/producing them in-house.
  • Assist in preparing reports and evaluating the value of various activities.

ABOUT YOU:

  • You have two to five years of prior Marketing Experience.
  • You have some experience writing copy to assist in updating website as necessary.
  • Vendor management experience is helpful.
  • You are adept at Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You have excellent oral & written communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor and strong analytical skills.
  • You are able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • You have well-developed organizational and multitasking skills and are detail-focused.
  • You hold an Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant field of study or equivalent training and experience.
  • You are a practicing Catholic with a passion for the faith and Servant Leadership mentality.
