Production (Food) Supervisor, 1st Shift1st Shift (6:00am - 4:00pm)
($75,000 - $95,000 with a $2,000 Starting Bonus)

We’re looking for a highly skilled Production Supervisor thatwill be responsible for managing production employees in a fast-paced, high volume, non-union, manufacturing environment. You will lead a team to identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. Most importantly, you will be responsible for creating an engaged and team-oriented work force. This is an ACTIVE position with 100% of time being on the plant floor (standing, walking, climbing stairs).

Objectives of this Role:

• Assist with production goals and communicate the goals to the production staff
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization 
• Oversee and coach employees
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements 
• Check production output according to specifications
• Make sure that employees are trained/ cross-trained and understand and follow work instructions
• Work on continuous improvement and efficiency of each operation
• Enforce safety guidelines and company standards
• The position is very hands-on and supervisors are usually on the plant floor about 100% of the shift
• Ability to directly supervise 40 employees in the manufacturing department

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting required
• Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communications skills are necessary for the success in this position
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Associates degree preferred 
• Food safety training will be provided and is not required for employment
• English-Spanish bilingual preferred
