Production (Food) Supervisor, 2nd Shift
2nd Shift (4:00pm - 2:00am), 10% shift premium while on 2nd shift
($75,000 - $95,000 with a $2,000 Starting Bonus)

We’re looking for a highly skilled Production Supervisor that will be responsible for managing production employees in a fast-paced, high volume, non-union, manufacturing environment. You will lead a team to identify problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolve issues. Most importantly, you will be responsible for creating an engaged and team-oriented work force. This is an ACTIVE position with 100% of time being on the plant floor (standing, walking, climbing stairs).

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plant production operations, supervision, employee development, and progressive discipline. Objectives of this Role:

• Assist with production goals and communicate the goals to the production staff
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization 
• Oversee and coach employees
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements 
• Check production output according to specifications
• Make sure that employees are trained/ cross-trained and understand and follow work instructions
• Work on continuous improvement and efficiency of each operation
• Enforce safety guidelines and company standards
• The position is very hands-on and supervisors are usually on the plant floor about 100% of the shift
• Ability to directly supervise 40 employees in the manufacturing department

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting required
• Proven leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communications skills are necessary for the success in this position
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Associates degree preferred 
• Food safety training will be provided and is not required for employment
• English-Spanish bilingual preferred
