Job Summary:

Evolve Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to support a medical/surgical team in an Evansville, IN area hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality medical/surgical services.

Duties:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients admitted to the medical/surgical unit
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical diagnoses
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
• Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during their hospital stay
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems (Epic, Athenahealth)
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of [State]
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in a medical/surgical setting
• Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles and practices
• Proficient in case management and coordinating care for patients with complex medical conditions
• Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
