Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rad tech to join our Catheterization Lab team. As a Rad tech in the Cath Lab, you will play a crucial role in assisting with diagnostic evaluations and procedures related to cardiac catheterization. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the overall success of our patient care.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate radiologic images for quality and accuracy

• Provide patients with radiation protection equipment and ensure they comply with safety and hygiene standards
• Ensure adequate supplies of testing equipment
• Perform radiographic room disinfection and ensure general cleanliness of exam areas
• Ensure that imaging equipment is in optimum operating order and inform the appropriate person when it needs repairs
• Label images in the radiology information system according to organizational SOPs

Requirements:

· Scrub Peripheral Angiograms/Interventions

· Scrub Coronary Angiograms / Interventions

· Scrub Insertion of PPM, ICD, SICD

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Structural Heart Experience

· PE/DVT Experience

· Leadless Pacemaker Experience

· EP Experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· Left Heart Catheterizations / PCI

· Peripheral Angiograms/Interventions

· Device Implants

· Left Atrial Appendage Closures

· PFO

· TAVR

· Mitral Clip

· EP Studies, Ablations

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· BLS

· Prefer to have ACLS as well

Weekends and On call(if any)

On Call Shifts (Includes week days and 1 weekend/Friday, Saturday & Sunday) – Average around 8 days per Month
