Evolution Veterinary Specialists is Hiring a Veterinary Technician Manager Near Lakewood, CO
- Education: College (AS/BS/BA) and CVT, LVT, RVT required.
- Experience: 5 years experience as CVT minimum; 3 years supervisory experience as specialty lead or head of department.
- VTS preferred.
- Management course certification(s) preferred.
- The technician manager will have the decision-making power to influence daily operations. They will advocate for improved patient care by optimizing the processes of the hospital and and the functionality of the hospital teams.
- The technician manager will promote the EVS core values and must be dedicated to creating a healthy work environment where all employees are supported, empowered, and provided opportunities for professional growth through fostering agency and team-oriented culture and community.
- They will apply their professional skills in anesthesia, emergency, laboratory testing, specialty medicine, patient nursing, and client education. VTS is not required but encouraged, with opportunities to obtain certification if there is interest.
- Hours may vary and depend on the needs of the departments and hospital.
- In conjunction with the practice manager & medical director: identify/develop/implement department policies and procedures
- In conjunction with the medical director: establish technical protocols
