EVERLAST LOGISTICS is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Monroe, NJ

Everlast Logistics is a regional logistics company, arranging transportation solutions throughout Northeast. Our services include but are not limited to, Small Package services, Less-than-truckload/Truckload, Container load/Less-than-container load, Cross-dock operations, and Warehousing. The company, founded in 1993, is family owned and operated, with the founder having over 40 years of experience in transportation operations and warehousing.

Outside Logistics Sales Representative:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Logistics Sales Representative who is looking for an opportunity to be a rain maker in the industry. This position will focus on multi-level relationships with customers including networking with customers, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and cultivating partnering opportunities.

You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow existing business. You will work closely with the operation teams to ensure that customers receive the highest quality of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize marketing software to identify qualified leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business. Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations at customer locations, via Zoom meetings and conference calls. Regular follow up with stakeholders and key decision makers.
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth and develop relationships with key decision makers.
  • Visit existing and potential customers to understand their needs and develop a solution that perfectly meets the customer’s requirements.
  • Meet or exceed sales benchmarks and goals outlined in the Company’s Sales Initiative and/or directives provided by the Management Team.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of the Company’s services and pricing structure and provide recommendations relative to market conditions.
  • Maintain solid understanding of global and local current market conditions, business cycles (seasonality) and trends.
  • Coordinate and interact with the Operating teams daily to ensure all customer needs are communicated and that we are providing our customers with the highest quality service.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Issue and review activity reports with the VP of Operations and Management Team related to the weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Experience:

  • 3 years of outside Sales experience with a strong understanding of the logistics/transportation industry is required.
  • Established book of business in the logistics/transportation industry, with proven track record of developing new business opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with positive interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professional conduct.
  • Self-starter with excellent planning and organizing skills who is willing to share knowledge and expertise as a team player.
  • College degree preferred.

Pay: This position offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission potential.
