Evergreen Home Performance, a leading company in Maine’s residential energy efficiency sector, is seeking a motivated individual to manage our installation teams in our Portland office. The Production Manager supports the on-site production teams through new hire training, best practice development, project financial management, employee safe practice development & adoption, and customer satisfaction assurance. Job is anticipated to be 70% on site, 30 % admin duties.

The  Production Manager works in close collaboration with the project supervisors, and under the supervision of, the General Manager and is involved in all aspects of the production process.

Responsibilities include:

•  Pre Project logistics
• Quality assurance of work being delivered
• Delivering on department financial goals
• Payroll Hours review
• Best practice development
• New Hire training / Existing employee coaching
• Safe worksite set-up & safe practice coaching/communication
• Inventory / Logistics
• Support supervisors in project planning/execution, troubleshooting, crew management

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to wear respirator
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lb.

Other Requirements:

• Valid Class C driver’s license
• Computer skills including QuickBooks Time, Word and Excel.
• Building Performance Institute - Building Science Principles Certificate 
  • May complete within first 3 months of hire.

Full-time position: Wage range $30 –$35/hr. $500 Hiring Bonus, Health Insurance, Company-matched IRA, paid time off.
