Evergreen Family Medicine serves outpatient needs, including Urgent Care, Family Practice, Women’s Health, Occupational Health, and school-based telehealth. OccuHealth Receptionist Job Summary: Responsible for providing general, clerical and administrative services as directed by the Occupational Clinic Manager. The OH Receptionist is also charged with phone communications with patients and local companies, schedule, and patient account management along with the day-to-day tasks of the clinic. OccuHealth ReceptionistResponsibilities and Duties: • Processing incoming referrals for occupational health services. • Maintain and update patient schedules, documents and communications. • Schedule, Confirm and Reschedule patient appointments as required. • Maintains accurate patient account information through the check-in and check-out process. • Communicates completed services to local employers in a timely manner. • Maintains a positive working relationship with local HR companies and employees. • Manages the daily accounting of payments received by cash or credit card. • Ensures proficiency in DOT Medical Examiner requirements, reporting and documentation. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing employment-based services • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills. Physical requirements: • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. • The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel; and reach forward with hands and arms. • The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, or crouch. • May be exposed to patients with infectious diseases. • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
