The Women's Head Coach position is a Full-Time 40 hour per week role. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to developing gymnasts from beginner through level ten, collaborating/communicating well with coaching staff, hosting support staff meetings, all administrative aspects of competitive teams (scheduling, practice, and competition), effective communication to parents, coaching staff, supervisors, and medical staff, develop training plans for all levels, budgeting competition fees, and ability and willingness to spot and assist gymnasts at a high level, and navigate NCAA recruitment. Help train and supervise incoming instructors to aid in program’s development and success.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. ADMINISTRATION
· Develop training plans.
· Budgeting competition expenses.
II. COMMUNICATION
· Communication to parents, coaching staff, supervisors, and medical staff.
III. AGENCY EXPECTATIONS
· Attend monthly staff meetings.
· Participate in agency-wide in-service training programs.
· Participate in agency-wide Open House/Program Registration days as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2. 3-5 years experience.
3. Excellent skills using MS Word, Excel, Access, and Internet Explorer. Salesforce is a plus.
4. Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
7. Experience coaching from developmental through Level 10 gymnasts.
8. Knowledge of USAG Development Program rules.
9. Compliant with USAG Safe Sport and current standing with Professional Membership in USAG.
10. Ability and willingness to spot and assist gymnasts at a high level.
11. Choreographic skills on floor and beam.
