Guest Service / Security Agent reports to : Hotel Manager

Our Guest Service Security Agent is responsible for providing safety throughout our property. They help protect guests and their valuables, as well as fellow employees.

Typical duties, responsibilities and expectations include :

• Provide a welcoming environment and provide services for guests and fellow employees
• Investigate incidents and create reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities
• Perform a variety of random security patrols / checks as directed by manager
• Communicate effectively with guests while maintaining excellent hospitality and interpersonal skills
• Patrol the property (interior, exterior, parking areas, vacant storage lots, and perimeter)
• Ensure all facility doors are locked after hours as per plan and that all rooms are properly silent at determined levels (Iighting, HVAC, music)
• Monitor the CCTV cameras to secure guest safety, prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules & policies
• Complete a daily security log
• Respond to calls when guests or fellow employees need assistance
• Escort guests where necessary (if they are intoxicated and need assistance, get locked out of their hotel room, if they are lost)
• Protect property, equipment, guests, staff, and the environment by keeping location secure
• Report any accidents, injuries, or suspicious incidents to management in detail and file the appropriate report
• Act in a lawful manner while in defense of the property, staff, and environment
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
• Welcome and acknowledges all guests according to Europa Village standards
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation
• Stands, sits, or walks for an extended period or for an entire work shift
• Maintain a log sheet of all Lost and Found items property-wide
• Be able to communicate Europa Village's story to all guests
• Arrive to work on time and prepared with excellent personal presentation standards, clean and pressed uniform, and appropriate comfortable shoes
• Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
