Job Title: Sales Support Specialist

Employment Type: Regular Full-Time Position

• Receives customers’ requests by telephone, mail, or email; analyzes requests; provides information requested or determines who can provide the information, and routes the request to that proper person.
• Maintains customer contact information in database.
• Traces status of orders through each department and schedules shipment of customer orders.
• Resolves customer questions related to orders. Takes orders as needed.
• Maintains liaison with other departments for order completion.
• Enters orders into computer.
• Gives price quotes over email and telephone.
• Responds to customer requests via telephone or email.
• Contacts customers to ascertain data omitted on orders.
• Has knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, and similar data, as required.
• Prepares and forwards preliminary paperwork to Returns and Replacements on problem orders.
• Provides administrative support as needed.
• Assists in other departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel
• Excellent written, email, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate office equipment to include PC, Fax, Scanner, and phone system.
• Eye for detail/accuracy.
• Strong understanding of math principals.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

• Hourly, non-exempt
• Starting rate $18.00/hr commensurate with experience
