We are seeking a highly motivated Credit Specialist who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has a strong background in accounting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be customer-focused, and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties:
- Review and analyze credit applications and financial statements -Release orders -Troubleshoot receivable issues -Cash application -Issue credits
- Assess creditworthiness and make recommendations for credit limits
- Monitor customer accounts for payment delinquencies and take appropriate actions
- Investigate and resolve customer billing disputes or discrepancies
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer credit concerns
- Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and customer interactions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in credit management
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including corporate, governmental, and technical accounting
- Proficiency in using accounting software for data entry and financial analysis
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate creditworthiness and assess financial risks
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in credit assessments and recordkeeping
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data entry
