Escape the Room STL is looking for a full-time assistant manager to join our team. We are one of the most exciting attractions in Downtown St. Louis.

Escape the Room is an unconventional take on reality entertainment meant to stimulate all of the senses and challenge people's problem-solving skills. Teams discover unsolved clues, secret messages, and new mysteries that lead them to the escape route and ultimately help them earn their freedom in a fun filled fast paced hour.

What we're looking for:

In short, we need someone who can proactively get things done and has done so in the past. If you're creative and can think on your feet, we like that. If you're the type of person that notices the smallest detail out of place, we love that. We are growing a company and are looking for qualified candidates to grow with us and help shape the Escape the Room customer and employee experience.

More specifically, you will tasked with responding to, resolving, and/or escalating issues as appropriate.

Responsibilities include:

• Directing staff and upholding brand standards throughout shifts.
• Manage a small team of clue masters and also run your own games.

• Maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of different props, sets, and public spaces.
• Training, supervising, appraising, and coordinating staff.
• Monitoring and responding to customer questions and feedback in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintaining an engaging, organized, efficient, and professional work environment.
• Overseeing and executing sales calls.

Qualifications include:

• Proficiency and the ability to quickly learn a variety of user friendly computer and internet platforms/applications.
• Experience with guest relations and sales.
• Ability to clearly and regularly communicate and resolve issues as they arise. Working both independently, leading shifts as well as working as part of a team with the other managers.
• Experience in theater, hospitality, or retail environments is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
