Direct care for young adult males with special needs and behavioral issues in residential home setting. Must be patient, kind, honest, trustworthy, fun, with a good sense of humor, a team player and reliable. Prefer experience with minimum 1 year (that can be verified by previous employer) working with special needs residents in a group home/residential care setting. I provide paid training and will provide all necessary on-going training. Must be able to pass FBI and DOJ with a clean background check. CPR/1st Aid a plus but will provide as needed. Clean DMV report. Current physical and TB within 1 year is a plus but I can provide if needed. DSP/Direct Support Professional Certification year 1 and 2 is preferred. CPI certification / Crisis prevention Intervention is a plus. Possibly 2 P/T shifts available or 1 F/T shift. Weekend availability a must, some hours during the week, weekend mornings and evenings available. Some flexibility based on your needs and mine. All overtime is paid. 3 paid holidays if worked, at time and a half and paid sick days annually after 3 months probationary period.
