Salary: 43,836 - 62,764

General Description:

The ideal candidate for our Human Resources Assistant will support the Human Resources Department by providing administrative support to the HR Team and Corporate Office. They will be responsible for general Human Resources administrative duties around recruitment/employment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, policy guidance and other administrative duties as needed.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.
  • Assist with new hires with their orientation processing, paperwork and team introductions.
  • Ensures employee data is input, inquiries are answered, and employee records are up to date.
  • Assists with current employee relations and answers team member inquiries.
  • Assists department with key projects and audits.
  • Records and tracks training initiatives ensuring compliance is met for training program(s).
  • Ensure accurate recording of information payroll records and entry into HRIS.
  • Responds to team member queries or distributes to query to appropriate HR Team member.
  • May assist reception or office operations as needed.
  • Perform other office functions as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous work experience in Human Resources administration support preferred.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office, MS Teams, HRIS systems and data entry skills necessary.
  • Ability to work well with others, meet deadlines and adapt to changes in priorities.
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • While performing the duties of this position, an employee is regularly required to work indoors, but may be subjected to noise that regularly occurs at a construction site.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull materials to complete assigned job tasks.
  • Be able to use hands to finger, handle feel or operate objects, office materials or controls and reach with hands and arms.
