Marketing Coordinator Position at ERA Structural Engineering

Position Overview: It’s an exciting time at ERA for Marketing and Business Development. We’re in the next phase of growth and are looking an exceptional Marketing Coordinator to help achieve our goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including proposal writing and other persuasive content, social media, content marketing, digital marketing, communications, and marketing collateral design. The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. This position will report to ERA’s Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Approximately 50-60% on business development efforts:

Serve as the day-to-day lead in creating, editing and delivering compelling business proposals, including responding to Request for Proposals (RFPS) and Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). This includes:
· Carefully reviewing RFP/RFI documents to determine what is needed and deadlines required for each proposal.

· Collaborating with the Project Manager, Marketing Director and other SMEs key on goals, content and timelines.

· Utilizing InDesign to create final deliverables, which may include designing tables, maps, organizational charts, infographics and storytelling graphics.

· Review/edit content provided by pursuit team.

· Be responsive to feedback and revisions.

· Ensure proposals stay on schedule.

· Grow and maintain a library of reusable templates and content for business developments, including project descriptions and photos, resumes and headshots, logos and branded content and more.

· Assist with ERA’s photography and video needs. 

· Assist with developing case studies, managing testimonials and references. 

· Serve as an expert of ERA’s CRM tool including report pulling, data entry, clean up and training to other colleagues.

Along with the Marketing Director and Business Development Director, help revamp ERA’s client relationship/touchpoints plan.
Maintain an updated listed of projects and proposals.
Manage ordering of business cards, branded merchandise and client gifts. 

Approximately 30-40% on marketing efforts:

· Assist the Marketing Director in the development of ERA’s new website and brand development project, including gathering content.

· Ensure content on website, business development materials and marketing materials is always updated and accurately reflects our brand.

· Assist Marketing Director with developing ERA’s social media content calendar, lead content creation and manage postings and performance. 

· Assist with evaluating marketing ROI and provide optimization recommendations on marketing efforts including website performance, email marketing campaigns, and other efforts.

· Assist in organizing and planning select external events, Career Fairs, meetings, and conferences.

· Assist with advertising, sponsorships and company listings.

· Conduct research on various topics as requested.

Approximately 10% on internal communication efforts:

Lead the creation of the monthly internal newsletter.
Assist with Employee Recognition programs and activities. 
Assist in organizing and planning select company events.

Skills and Abilities:
· Exceptional knowledge of marketing and business development processes

· Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills

· Proactive go-getter with excellent time management skills 

· Strong project management skills

· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – primarily InDesign and Photoshop

· Proficient in Microsoft Office – primarily PowerPoint, Word, Excel

· Experience with CRM software 

· Preferred HTML experience

· Ability to take direction from Marketing Director and key leaders when needed while also be self-directed when needed 

· Exceptional written and verbal communication kills

· Exceptional organizational skills, including managing folder structures, databases, photo/content libraries 

· Professional demeanor and ability to thrive in a team environment

· Knowledge of basic office equipment including copiers, scanners, and printers

Requirements:
University or College degree in business, marketing or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional marketing or business development department

Location:
· This position is an office-based position in our St. Paul, Minnesota headquarters from Mondays-Thursdays. Fridays are remote optional.
