Job Description
  • Attend partner/funding customer meetings.
  • Complete all weekly/monthly reports requested.
  • Manage/Supervise assigned case managers on daily operations and performance.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with staff/leadership.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned project.
  • Ensure compliance with county and government regulations in regard to intake and enrollment qualifications.
  • Ensure assessment, service plans and career pathway documents meet required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Director and Project Accountant for budgeting, forecasting, and to ensure financial sustainability and success.
  • Work in partnership with the Project Director on planning and overall day-to-day operations/program development/Contract management/Human Resources/Staff Development/Business Development.
  • Assumes central responsibility for participants achieving self-sufficiency by monitoring progress throughout the program cycle, beginning with outreach/referral and continuing through retention and advancement efforts.
  • Prepares, organizes, and maintains accurate, updated information in both electronic and paper participant files reflecting entire history of a program participant including supportive services issued Understands all technical aspects of the program operation.
  • Maintains knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies related to WIOA workforce programs
  • Reviews eligibility of participants and verify staff record participant activity and progress in state system of record.
  • Conducts regular file review and monitoring Maximizes performance and productivity.
  • Direct/delegate staff responsibilities to meet and/or exceed performance standards.
  • Reviews staff performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinates training activities to ensure that all operations staff are properly trained to implement project activities effectively.
  • Participates in development and maintenance of standard operating procedures Facilitates meetings with partners to promote full, frequent communication.
  • Delegates work and resolve issues and conflicts that arise.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management or human services related field from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in WIOA programs.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Commitment to customer focused service delivery systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong management and organizational skills, and the ability to work across all levels of management and staff.
  • This is considered a driving position and as such your driver's license must be in good standing and you must have proof of valid automobile insurance.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor staffing experience preferred Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred Ability to work well in teams and independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work well in teams and independently
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and proof of automobile insurance required
