In this Project Director role, you will be an integral part of the Leadership team, responsible for all day-to-day operations, leading and directing team members, ensuring accountability and performance of team members, and addressing all funder, company, and team requests and concerns. This position is responsible for establishing positive working relationships with the funder, area employers, and all workforce partner to optimize funding, customer satisfaction and community relations. You will be responsible for fiscal management and will work to maximize project funding streams, operate within funding guidelines, and implement welfare and workforce services contracts, ensuring that we are adhering to federal, state, and local policies. In this position, you will work with the corporate HR team to manage human resource responsibilities such as hiring, coaching, and disciplining. You will be responsible for administering policies and procedures to teams and ensuring all staff are trained and meet performance standards. This role is responsible for facilitating project accomplishments and ensuring that management decisions and contractual goals are understood and supported by staff.
In this role you will:• Ensure a positive customer experience for all internal and external customers• Ensure proper practices regarding record keeping, control systems, and proper reporting• Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable culture while promoting the company mission, vision, values, and brand• Participate in business development activities including contract rebid and new business activities• Present information on project and company activities and progress as invited or required at meetings and conferences
You are a self-motivated and flexible team player. You consider yourself to have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. You have 5 or more years at a management level with experience managing multiple teams and working directly with executive leadership or a board of directors. You’re comfortable with public speaking and multitasking. You take pride in your ability to provide operational oversight, and both financial and grant/contract management. You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, or closely related field of study and are ready to make an impact.
