Marketing Intern - Brand & Content (Summer 2024)

We’re looking for a part-time Marketing Intern who’s excited to dig in, learn on the job, and help our growth team grow our customer base through creative channels. This is a great opportunity to learn how marketing for a startup organization in the fintech space works. 

This internship would be for summer 2024 with the opportunity to extend the timeline with us into the future (fall internship or a future full-time role). The hourly rate for this role is $20/hour. This is a part-time role, ideally 20-30 hours per week.

On any given day, you will:

• Supports an “always on” world of customer journey experiments and personalizations through new enterprise-grade testing tools
• Collaborates closely with team members and across the organization to support the regular creation of new video assets, typically recorded on site at NYC office
• Uses enterprise tools and AI to execute and report on marketing automations and experimentation
• Assist designing and creating ads and social media content and campaigns
• Dig into our marketing analytics and provide inputs on optimization and strategy based on this data
• Help with brand management and copywriting 
• Help with some data entry and cleanup
• Help produce a cohesive, polished universe of brand touchpoints
• maintain a full social media calendar, strategy, and reporting method
• Develops a firm handle on marketing analytics and performance reporting, collaborating closely with the Growth team to achieve performance goals
• Helps to prospect, negotiate, close, and grow transformative affiliate partnerships
• Implement winning strategies for educating, compelling, and converting customers across the funnel through email marketing
• Practices vigilant conversion rate optimization (CRO) to supplement email marketing and affiliate marketing
• Gains full exposure to scope of marketing team operations, and pinch-hit for team members when needed

We’re looking for someone who is:

• An undergraduate junior, senior, or master’s student 
• Studying a relevant discipline like marketing, design, economics, business, English, finance, creative writing, statistics/data science, etc.
• A great communicator (verbally and written), able to distill complex information down to key messaging 
• Previous relevant experience (can include past jobs, internships, or experience supporting marketing for clubs or other organizations)
• Creative while being analytical
