As a Resolution Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing, researching, and responding to written communications from internal departments, policy holders, financial professionals, third parties, and insurance departments in accordance with product and regulatory guidelines, legal requirements, and approved authority limits. Case work involves a wide range of product and procedural knowledge to include but not limited to general policy provisions, explanation of system generated correspondence, basic requests for service, general industry rules, and escalated/complex transactions. Daily communication with policyholders, financial professionals, various internal depts., and management regarding remediation plans, sensitive casework, trends, and system's issues. Support all business areas with product/policy maintenance and developing sound remediation plans to be presented to clients . Works closely with our Complex Processing Team to gain understanding of the systems and to implement resolutions. Requires adherence to established service levels with regards to timeliness of case handling and quality of work. This role will primarily serve as liaison for EQH Novation.

The base salary range for this position is $46,000 - $67,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience handling escalations, complex service issues, and familiarity with processing.
  • Knowledge of all Individual Retirement products with profound understanding of the Accumulator product line. Ability to efficiently navigate administrative systems (ie. VTG, cSA, AWD & WMA.)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive self-starter; resolves casework in a timely manner knowing when to appropriately escalate.
  • Strong technical aptitude and customer service acumen. Has a desire to coach and mentor others.
  • Ability to research and effectively utilize available knowledge/ product resources to draw conclusions and resolve complex service issues.
  • Reliable; ability to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrates commitment, dedication, highly engaged and involved in the job.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.

Results Orientation: Knowledge of the importance of meeting or exceeding established targets; ability to drive critical activities to completion.

Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
