EquipmentShare is Hiring a Service Products Manager

EquipmentShare is searching for a Service Products Manager for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team as the department continues to grow. This is a remote opportunity.

EquipmentShare is seeking a Service Products Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the business strategy, KPIs, products. This role combines expertise in Service Business, product development and BI tools, data visualization, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the Service business strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
  • Help drive the product roadmap for our internal tools and the asset management and maintenance products in our Systems (T3)
  • Collaborate with other areas and oversee data analysis activities, including trend analysis to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Work with Data Analysts to create and manage comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with timely, relevant, and accurate information.
  • Providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the service organization
  • Work with all the service areas to create clear key performance indicators and help monitoring the information
  • Create a pipeline of requirements from all the Service Organization, prioritizing the most impactful projects and clearly communicate with the existing data analysts and developers

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Services, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Prior working experience in service department
  • Strong understanding of service processes
  • Ability to assess and interpret technical information and business needs
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving
  • Thorough understanding of the company’s products and services, as well as relevant technical knowledge are able to assess the Service Department needs and guide more laser focus approaches
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools with the ability to understand what to ask for the developers/data analysts and implement complex data visualizations.
  • Outstanding Leadership and communication skills to liaise and interact effectively with OEMs, other departments, stakeholders, and other parties. Communication is valuable for collaborating with internal departments and building professional relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze, interpret, and assess all different situations encompassing all service departments and determine their eligibility and accuracy and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • Analytical skills help them identify areas of improvement, implement new strategies, and effectively manage costs.
  • Attention to detail is a vital skill because it helps to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the information. The keen eye for detail enables to maintain precise records, spot discrepancies, and challenging gaps in our operations.
