Full Job Description:

This position will be responsible for initiating and processing requests for repair services and providing administrative support to the Service Department.

Responsibilities

Process customer repair orders from start to close, including fleet and warranty repair orders if applicable.

Gather customer information, including description of service problem, and accurately transcribe and enter into system.

Respond to customer inquiries about the status of vehicle repairs.

Obtain necessary signatures on work orders prior to repairs at drop-off.

Enter all parts and service updates into computer recording system.

Dispatch work orders based on customer needs and technician experience, if applicable.

Combining your in-depth automotive repair knowledge with your exceptional people skills, you'll manage customer relationships and frequently serve as a liaison between technicians and customers.

Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level

Serving all automotive service needs of customers

Maintain compliance with quality standards

Developing customer satisfaction and retention

Schedule:

10 hour shift

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

1 year of service manager or service writer experience

Problem solving – customer complaints

Capacity to lead and coach others

Teammate and customer/communication skills

Must always have valid automotive driver’s license in order to test drive customer’s vehicles
