Client Summary: Our client provides a vast array of specialized medical and surgical services in addition to coronary care, behavioral health care, rehabilitation and wellness and many others. Job Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health - Inpatient RN behavioral health provides structure and maintains a safe therapeutic recovery oriented environment; uses the therapeutic relationship and counseling interventions to assist health care consumers. Candidate Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Heath Unit experience - Required
Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients - Required
Recent travel experience
Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients
De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI/Welle
Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit
Certifications- REQUIRED:
Cerner experience - Required
BLS (AHA)
CPI
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: New York ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS License must be active at time of submission! Additional Facility Information:
Average daily census: 20 patients
RN to patient ratio: 1:9 (depending on census)
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Average stay length: 5-7 days
EMR: Cerner
Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.
Non-Billable Orientation: 8hrs
Multipliers (OT, Holiday): 1.25%
Call/Call-Back: 4.00 (Not applicable to this need)
Charge: 3.00 (Not applicable to this need)
Schedule Notes: Days 7a - 7p
12 HR Days
36hrs scheduled, 24hr guarantee
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend/Holiday rotation required
On Call Requirements: No Call, No Charge
