Equifax is looking for an Account Executive to join our Government team within Equifax Digital Solutions (EDS). Focusing on our Identity and Fraud suite of solutions, this role is responsible for developing and executing short- and long- term sales strategies in order to drive revenue growth within existing and new government agency sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of full-cycle, consultative selling and relationship building experience with Government Agencies. This position requires the ability to travel up to 50% if not local to the Metro DC area.

What you’ll do

  • Support all aspects of the company’s new in market business sales activities while assisting in executing the company’s overall strategic sales plan

  • Achieve individual KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and revenue targets through prospecting, identifying, and closing opportunities in the marketplace

  • Develop and foster productive relationships with existing clients

  • Attend industry events and interaction in the field in an effort to generate additional revenue opportunities

  • Responsible for execution of all tactical activities assigned in an effort to meet sales objectives and revenue targets

  • Maintain a deep level of understanding and demonstration of technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas necessary to give effective presentations to potential clients and partners

  • Leverage value-based and consultative sales capabilities to generate a long-term pipeline in key target accounts

  • Generate competitive sales displacement strategies through account planning and strategic methodologies

  • Utilize company’s customer relationship management (CRM) tool to maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in effort to maximize territory potential

  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with key players (CTO, CIO, CFO and others) in defined territory and target accounts

  • Acts as a face of the company at trade shows and other key industry events

What experience you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an Account Executive, Business Development or similar full-cycle, quota-based, customer-facing sales role

  • Minimum of 3 years experience partnering with and selling consultatively into Government Agencies

  • SaaS, Identity and Fraud, Data and/or Payment Industry experience

  • Prior employment within a highly regulated and matrixed corporate organization

  • Proven ability to be a subject matter expert and sell multiple complex, customizable products/solutions

Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,000 to $159,000. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program.
