BlueHalo is hiring a Senior System Engineer and Technical Consultant to support Zero Trust implementation. WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Senior System Engineer, you will act as a Technical Consultant, while working with existing ICAM capability teams to define requirements, develop architecture, and design documentation, perform technology assessments, and support risk mitigation assessments. 

Typical responsibilities may include:

• Providing hands-on support for managing configurations, assisting with installation troubleshooting, and cloud technologies.
• Providing technical expertise in industry, federal, and DoD standards/policies as well as create and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation to include release notes, installation and user guides, frameworks, SOPs, and plans in accordance with Zero Trust mandates.
• Researching and analyzing cloud security environments, assisting with Risk Management Framework and DoD accreditation packages and documentation, identifying capability gaps and enhancements for current ICAM services, defining implementation processes, and outlining hardware and software considerations.
• Assisting the software developers with tracking and defining requirements, sprint planning/scheduling, design input/changes, and testing support.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline and 10 to 15 years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Experience with SW development methodologies
• Ability to solve complex system/integration problems.
• Experience briefing senior-level management.
• Familiar with AWS, Spring Boot, Java, Git, and microservices.
• Demonstrated engineering experience on programs with requirements, functional analysis, and allocation, conducting system requirement reviews, developing CONOPS and system architectures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in working with Software Development, Test Engineers, and System Administration teams to establish capabilities that meet requirements.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and brief technical concepts to technical and non-technical personnel.
• Experience with developing program review materials.
• Must be able to work in a collaborative environment. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be customer focused.
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
• Knowledge of EDH1/2, ISM, CAPCO and CUI Standards.
