WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Systems Administrator will be instrumental in managing and ensuring the optimal performance of our IT infrastructure. This role demands a proactive approach to system management, requiring the individual to maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot systems to support our operational needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain the organization's LAN, WAN, and internet systems or a segment of a network system.
• Monitor network to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Oversee system performance, troubleshoot system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems.
• Ensure the security of the network by implementing and managing security protocols and measures.
• Conduct routine backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Coordinate with IT team to enhance system performance, capacity planning, and scalability.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in systems administration, demonstrating a deep understanding of system management tools and techniques.
• Expertise in managing a variety of operating systems and cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to document procedures clearly and comprehensively.
