Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in the production process, performing inspections and tests to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform incoming, In-process (SPC, MSA) and final inspections, including First Articles and PPAPs. Work independently with total accountability for all quality related processes.

Assist Quality Manager with CAPAs, Calibration and internal and external audits.

Responsible for ensuring that all quality policies and procedures are adhered to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests using precision measuring instruments and other tools
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities
  • Identify and report any non-conformances, defects, or deviations from specifications to appropriate personnel for corrective action
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Follow established procedures and protocols for quality control and inspection activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Qualifications and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in quality assurance or a related field preferred
  • Read, interpret and comprehend blueprints, including GD& T.
  • Experience with an ISO related system (ISO 9001-2015)
  • Experience with measuring tools; Calipers, micrometers, indicators, CM Ms, etc.
  • Auditing experience is a plus.
  • Microsoft office suite proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook.)
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or quality control in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or discrepancies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using computers and software applications for data entry and documentation
