EPIC Brokers is Hiring an Employee Benefits Analyst and Sales Support Near Atlanta, GA

Location: Remote, Eastern Standard Time Zone

Title: Benefits M&A Due Diligence Analyst & Sales Support
Division: Financial Services

Job Overview: Support EPIC Financial Services’ M&A practice with a focus on Health & Welfare / Employee Benefits Insurance Due Diligence, sales and special projects. A successful Analyst is motivated to work hard, learn quick and works well in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with Employee Benefits due diligence assignments for potential merger and acquisition targets
    • Review and analyze data room documents, uncover compliance issues, liabilities, perform financial analysis, & collect information from the subject matter experts
    • Assist in writing reports that summarize our evaluation, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Work on various special projects which could include new prospect opportunities, informational white papers, marketing materials and research projects.
  • Assist with new product innovation and launches
  • Maintain EPIC’s culture of excellence & strong client focus

Key Competency Requirements For Role

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proactive, self-starter
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to affect and influence key internal and external audiences
  • Ability to convey a professional and positive image and attitude, while fostering a team-based environment

Job Experience & Educational Requirements

Due diligence analysts will receive invaluable on-the-job training to learn the specific processes and procedures of their role. Training may include shadowing current analysts or learning from a supervisor or senior analyst. However, we do want to see following requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Employee Benefits with current Life & Health License
  • College Degree required

The national average salary for this role is $65,000 to $75,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
