Job Description
EnviroScience is currently seeking a full time Asbestos Project Manager to:
• Prepare technical scopes of work and budgets for proposals and technical reports.
• Review and interpretation of data and preparation of reports and work plans.
• Prepare abatement plans, budget estimates, and contamination assessments
• Conduct construction administration services
• Conduct inspections and other fieldwork on an as-needed basis
• Business development and generation of new business.
• Participate actively in professional organizations and conferences; write technical papers and deliver presentations to clients and others
• Demonstrate the ability to complete concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and stay on schedule.
• Travel is minimal but candidate should have the ability to periodically assist with field assignments as needed.
• Experience with preparation of project specifications and bid documents a plus
• B.S. in Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of previous professional experience in asbestos and construction
• Current Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor and Asbestos Management Planner certifications preferred.
• The preferred candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, and be self-motivated, thorough, and detailed in their work.
• Ability to produce accurate, professional, and error-free documents in a timely manner.
• Work well in a team setting.
