Envera Health is Hiring a Remote Patient Access Specialist (Call Center)

Envera Health's Patient Access Specialists work collaboratively with several health organizations & doctor offices to schedule patient appointments and provide advanced patient support over the phone. Specialists have experience in healthcare and are able to provide a high-level of support to complex clients.

We are seeking dependable candidates who have a passion for helping others and have been in previous roles handling a high-volume of calls while they seek ways to create a positive experience for every patient.

This is an entry-level remote (work from home) position, we are currently only hiring in: AL, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IL, IA, MD, MI, MO, MT, NM, PA, KY, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI.

Patient Access Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of calls a day using a multi-line phone. (80 calls/day)
  • Schedule appointments for multiple clinical sites according to client-specific protocols.
  • Gather & input patient demographic and insurance information into the practice management system.
  • Report complex clinical issues to the appropriate supervisor/client partner.
  • Document call activity, outcomes, and other notes as needed in the client system.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
  • Assist callers and navigate them to the appropriate resources.
  • Must meet all attendance and performance standards.

The pay scale for this entry-level position is $16.50 - $21.50 per hour, with Monthly Bonuses based on attendance & performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in healthcare patient service
  • 1 year of experience handling a high volume of inbound calls
  • Experience using an EMR and scheduling software
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone
  • Strong Internet Speed & access to router via Ethernet Cord (Minimum speed: 20mbps Download & 6mbps Upload)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Call Center experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail
