Job Description

Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to manage identified business project implementations across the organization (IT and non-IT focused). This includes coordination, establishing deadlines, assigning responsibility to stakeholders, monitoring progress, providing updates to management, and completion of these projects within budget and within scope. Projects may include deployment of internally developed solutions as well as solutions acquired from third party vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, design, execution and delivery.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Lead the successful implementation of business-focused processes & projects
• Track progress against stated goals, milestones and performance indicators. Regularly provide status updates
• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues as needed
• Work closely with business partners and technology providers to develop and execute implementation plans
• Work with Learning and Development on training plans and delivery to drive adoption
• Measure adoption rates and adjust processes and procedures as needed
• Continually seek ways to drive existing and new platform capabilities into business
• Performs other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) at all levels of the organization
• Manage vendor timelines and deliverables
• Strong understanding of change management
• Proven ability to make decisions with limited information
• Excellent analytical skills
• Established understanding of both traditional and agile project management methodologies
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined, scope, budget, and timeline

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
• Minimum 2-4 years' experience in project management or other related experience
• Experience in the financial services industry a plus

Computer and Software Skills:

• Strong skill in operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Mail, and Google Sheets.
• Project Management Software (i.e. MS Project, Asana, Etc.)

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

• Certified Project Manager a plus
