Summary : Seeking a Quality Technician to support manufacturing processes, conduct gap analysis, develop control plans, and ensure product quality through inspection and statistical analysis.
Job Requirements :
HS diploma or GED equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, & Word
Experience with SAP systems
Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
Familiarity with SIP / IRS, Keyence, OGP, CMM, Micro Vu
Knowledge of Gage R&R, Control Plan, Process Capability, Print Ballooning
Proficient in GD&T basics
Preferred Skills :
Administrative and record keeping skills
Ability to multi-task effectively
Job Responsibilities :
Provide technical support for quality across various departments
Conduct gap analysis on existing control plans and summarize findings
Develop new control plans and revise existing ones as necessary
Enter control plans into ERP system
Determine proper sampling plans based on specifications and requirements
Develop measurement and calibration strategies; input for inspection methods improvements
Inspect components, subassemblies, and finished products both visually and dimensionally
Assist engineering with process-related quality investigations
Write Non-Conforming Reports; familiar with quarantining rejected products
Use statistical analysis for inspection plan validation
Maintain accurate records including inspection reports and corrective action reports
Develop standard work for customer / supplier inspections; report results
Coordinate with manufacturing / engineering teams to resolve quality issues
Interface with customers regarding stamped product quality issues
Lead problem-solving teams for resolving internal / external quality issues
Perform trend analysis on recurring issues; issue internal corrective actions as needed
Pay Details : $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
