Job Summary: Mechanical Engineer with a fundamental understanding of manufacturing, quality control, and mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems required for developing and revising engineering drawings and providing support on proposals.
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in the Amusement Ride Industry (preferred but not required)
Experience in applied engineering
Ability to read & interpret Engineering Drawings and generate new/revise existing 2D drawings
Ability to read & interpret Engineering Analyses and other Technical Documentation
Basic 2D Drafting & 3D Modeling experience
Must be fluent in English
Must possess a valid driver's license
Willingness to travel up to ~20% to customer sites
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD and SolidEdge
Experience in mechanical/moving parts, hydraulics, pneumatics
Job Responsibilities:
Apply technical concepts such as manufacturing, quality control, mechanical / electrical / pneumatic / hydraulic systems in daily work
Develop and revise engineering drawings based on requirements
Read and interpret technical documentation for various projects
Provide onsite support at customer locations when necessary.
