Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Designer or Engineer with experience in automotive design, proficient in SolidWorks and Geomatic Design X.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years experience OR Product Designer with 5-10 years' experience
Proficiency in SolidWorks
Ability to use basic gages for measurement (micrometer, caliper, height gages)
Experience working with 3D scan data to design parts
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Geomatic Design X software
Knowledge of suspension geometry, simple designs that can be manufactured and the ability to design the tooling that the product will be made on
Experience designing automotive parts such as Mirrors, Racks, Windshields, Roofs, Skid plates, Doors for utility vehicles is ideal
Responsibilities:
Design various parts for ATVs, UTVs, and RUVs including Mirrors, Racks, Windshields, Roofs, Skid plates and Doors.
Utilize Solidworks and Geomatic Design X software for design tasks.
Work with 3D scan data to design parts.
